Mathieu Boogaerts solo concert: an anthology of the French song
400 Years of French Presence in Ontario - Concert - New Scene

Saturday, January 30, 2016, come at the Alliance française to meet the French Mathieu Boogaerts and listen to his new album: "Mathieu Boogaerts".

Sixteen years after "Super", fourteen years after " J'en ai marre d'être deux”,  ten years after "2000", seven years after "Michel" and four years later "I love you", now is the time to the eponymous album.
Following the funny experience of "I love you" (he wrote songs by starting with drum grooves), it is natural that Mathieu took the guitar to begin his new sentimental, poetic and pictorial compositions...

Mathieu Boogaerts, French singer-songwriter born in 1970 in Paris, performs alone for some time. Six albums after "Super", released in 1995, we find him more than ever as songwriter, electric guitar in the shoulder, in a tour that never seems to end.

He offers us, at colorful concert, lively, rhythmic and every single time unique, a one hour selection of his repertoire. French language songs, with diverse musicality, but still very personal, sensitive and original.
Very familiar with traveling (Mathieu made world tour and has performed in Japan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Poland, Germany, Sudan, Ethiopia, Namibia, Canada, Brazil ...), he has made a personal habit of moving alone. The best way for him to immerse himself in the countries he crosses, but also to be in a leaner economy, more suitable.
