FRENCH IMMERSION : Children 7 to 8

Public: This course is offered to children between the ages of 7 and 8, currently in French immersion, who have an intermediate level of French.

Content: Strengthen French vocabulary and grammar, all the while covering the four areas of learning (written and oral comprehension and expression).

Objectives:

Develop oral expression and comprehension through discussion and role play.

Enhance written comprehension through through discussion of a literary work, reading of various genre of documents.

Practice written expresion through writing in a variety of forms.

When? Saturday, 1:00 to 4:00pm or Wednesday, 5:30 to 7:30pm.

FRENCH IMMERSION : Children 9 to 11

Public: This course is offered to children between the ages of 9 and 11, currently in French immersion, who have an advanced level of French.

Content: Deepen one’s mastery of the French language while focusing on the four areas of learning (written and oral comprehesion and expression).

Objectives:

Develop oral comprehension and expression through discussions and debates on current affairs

Strengthen written comprehension and expression by creating posters, writing e-mails, letters, articles, and poems.

When? Saturday, 1:00 to 4:00pm or Wednesday, 5:30 to 7:30pm.
