General objectives:

Enlivening the practice of the French language by using advertising as an educational tool because it reflects the cultural and contemporary aspect of the language.

Specific objectives:

Encouraging different genres and styles of oral and written creativity, as well as developing several key grammatical notions pertinent to the area.

Sociolinguistic objectives:

Understanding, describing, comparing, discussing, and analyzing various contemporary behaviors, habits, and lifestyles.

Length:

A 12-hour summer session, or a 24-hour fall/winter/spring session. 3-hour classes.

Participants:

Adults
Levels: end of A2 (starting from A2.4) and B1.

Material:

Advertisements coming from television, radio, and press.
