Embark on a virtual tour de France of ten cities listed by the UNESCO World Heritage and discover the architectural, cultural and culinary heritage of such jewel cities as Strasbourg, Carcassonne, Lyon, Paris, Avignon, Bordeaux, etc.

Objectives:
To discover the cultural variety and wealth of some French cities and their areas.

Course description
Through different oral and written activities you will build up a useful vocabulary linked to history, architecture, gastronomy, cultural events and learn idiomatic expressions. You will give your opinion, you will express your ideas and feelings, you will have to make comparisons, you will practise through play-roles. You will have to convince other participants and make them share your enthusiasm.

Material:
You will use authentic documents from France (flyers, guides, Internet…).

For whom?
This course is offered to students at level B1 and up.

Where?
At the Alliance Française of Spadina.

Fee :
Class offered on Fridays from 12:30 to 2:30pm.
$315.00 for 22 hrs (Winter session 2010); $340.00 for 24 hrs (Spring session 2010)
