Iskwē is an Indigenous artist-singer-songwriter. She was born and raised in Winnipeg and is of cree an Métis descent. She received a Juno Award nomination for Indigenous Music Album of the Year in 2018.
She learned French in Canada throughout her encounters.

CHARLES PACHTER
Charles Pachter is one of Canada’s leading contemporary artists: painter, printmaker, sculptor, designer, historian, and lecturer. He learned French in Canada, but also through his studies of French literature at the Sorbonne in Paris.

Andrea Lindsay, originally from Guelph, Ontario is a singer. An English speaker by birth, it was during a stay in France at the age of 18 that she discovered French and literally fell in love with it.

A native of Pondicherry, India, Tudor Alexis arrived in France in 1991. He learned French at the Alliance Française Pondicherry. He is now the Consul General of France in Toronto.
