Event Description

A grumpy old man lives in a small house in the forest, on the banks of a river. His days are just like each other, which suits him perfectly, until the day a magical creature appears in his life, which will change everything! Beautifully crafted, this work of puppet theater does not use words but rather an enchanting musical score. We discover a world in which we immerse ourselves as in a storybook, where rivers sing, trees laugh, and curious dragonflies come to visit you. Exploring themes of friendship, communication, play, and adaptation to change, The Old Man and the River is an ideal experience for the youngest audience members to learn about theater.

This production has been presented across Canada and has been unanimously applauded by children, parents, grandparents and teachers, due to its great artistic qualities and a compelling story. The Old Man and the River is the perfect way for for toddlers - and the adults in their world - to discover the magic of theater.
This performance is complemented by audience interaction before and after the performance, designed specifically for this age group.
