European Union Film Festival 2022
Cinema

Event Description
EUFF draws the best films from the European Union to Toronto, engaging 27 Consulates and Cultural Institutes in collaboration. Driven by excellence since it was founded in 2004, the festival has thrived by showcasing hidden gem and award-winning films for 18 years now, to the great delight of Canadian audiences.
When COVID 19 hit the world in 2019, Toronto’s EUFF, the Canadian Film Institute in Ottawa and The Cinematheque in Vancouver joined forces along with EU Delegations from the three cities to present a virtual festival.. As this festival successfully grows, EUFF will continue to offer highly curated content to all Canadians while remaining committed to bringing the Toronto film community together. The year 2022 marks the festival’s 18th and first-ever hybrid edition at its new official venue, Toronto’s Spadina Theatre.
