Event Description
The Alliance française de Toronto, in collaboration with the Bureau du Québec and the Institut Français, will present a Quebec and French film marathon on Saturday, March 25 at the Spadina Theatre from 10 am to 10 pm. Four Quebec films will be screened, including the documentaries La famille de la forêt by Laura Rietveld and Prière pour une mitaine perdue by Jean-François Lesage, as well as the comedy Au revoir le bonheur by Ken Scott and the thriller Au Nord d'Albany by Marianne Farley. This film component, offered during the Mois de la francophonie, is made possible by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec and SODEC. Two French films from the Institut Français' Fête de la Francophonie 2023 cycle will also be presented: Eugénie Grandet by Marc Dugain and the documentary J'ai aimé vivre là by Régis Sander. Toronto moviegoers will also be able to enjoy light snacks between screenings.

Venue Information - Spadina Theatre
Created by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the Alliance Française Toronto theatre opened in the spring of 2014. Since then, more than 200 artists and events have been held there all year long, within a warm and intimate atmosphere. This 147-seat auditorium invites you to join us for musical performances of all genres, as well as film screenings, lectures, and stage plays.
Entrance to the theatre is on Lowther Avenue. The doors open 20 minutes prior to the beginning of each event.

Coat Check
Coat check is located in the basement of the Spadina Theatre and is available at no charge for every event. Alliance Française is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Wheelchair Access
A number of seats have been specifically set aside for people in wheelchairs or for those with disabilities. They are available upon request. Please inform the Alliance Française team upon arriving to the event. Washrooms are accessible.
