Event Description
Marco Ema and Mon Doux Saigneur
Indie rock, folk, desert, and country
To celebrate the 42nd edition of the Fête de la Musique, Alliance Francaise invites two music groups that will take you through rock, folk, and country music!
With songs from his first album Où nos corps s’en vont mourir released in the fall of 2021, Marco Ema takes us into his coming-of-age movie-like universe, skillfully addressing the passage to adulthood with all the emotions and outbursts that come with it, in an indie, rock, and pop aesthetic.
Émerik St-Cyr Labbé has been creating since 2014 under the name of Mon Doux Saigneur with an infectious blend of haunted folk, desert blues, and country that grooves to the point of stirring up the most hardened. The band conquered larger stages throughout Quebec and spread their affection for the abundant sounds of the 70’s/80’s, hypnotic rhythms, and catchy refrains.
