Poland, World War II. A woodcutter and his wife, poor and childless, live deep in a war-torn forest where trains pass day and night. When a baby girl is thrown from one of those trains - tossed into the snow by a desperate father to spare her from Auschwitz - the woman takes her in. One act of compassion, and the lives of everyone that child touches will be changed forever, for better or for worse. A hand-drawn animated fable about the worst and the best in the human heart.

Venue Information - Spadina Theatre
Created by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the Alliance Française Toronto theatre opened in the spring of 2014. Since then, more than 200 artists and events have been held there all year long, within a warm and intimate atmosphere. This 147-seat auditorium invites you to join us for musical performances of all genres, as well as film screenings, lectures, and stage plays.
Entrance to the theatre is on Lowther Avenue. The doors open 20 minutes prior to the beginning of each event.

Coat Check
Coat check is located in the basement of the Spadina Theatre and is available at no charge for every event. Alliance Française is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
