Event Description

Compagnie Ombres Folles

Text, direction, scenography and interpre- tation: Benjamin Déziel and Maude Gareau

In a world as raw as it is fragile, made of paper, Quijote and Sancho are in search of adventure. The frail knight’s imagination intervenes: colourful, epic, and in shadow theatre! But Quijote’s beliefs are too strong... Everywhere, people call him crazy. Follow a clownish duo, in search of glory, that makes you wonder: should we cling to a zany reality, or let ourselves be carried away by crazy dreams?

Ombres folles, the contemporary object and shadow theatre company, presents a show ingeniously inspired by the novel, The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes.
