A Cultural Program for Schools
Each year, Alliance Française de Toronto welcomes schools to share in a range of cultural experiences with their students, including theatre, film, guided exhibition tours, games, and interactive workshops.
Offered year-round, these engaging and educational activities take place in our art galleries and theatre on Spadina, giving students and their teachers an immersive French-language experience full of culture and discovery.

Field trip - Interactive Activities
Role Playing Game: The Werewolves
A cultural phenomenon, adapted into books, manga, and films, tthis activity is led by our team for students of all ages. Each player takes on the role of a villager threatened by a hidden werewolf and must use negotiation and logic to uncover the truth. It’s a fun way to develop argumentation, listening, and critical thinking skills in a game that stimulates both reflection and creativity.

Pixel Art Workshops
Led by Mikael Taieb, semi-finalist on Canada’s Got Talent, these workshops introduce students to the world of the Rubik’s Cube through a fun, collaborative activity. Over 45 minutes, participants learn simple algorithms, manipulate the cubes, and work together to create a piece of pixel art. It’s an original way to develop logic, patience, and teamwork while exploring mathematics in a whole new way.

Mathemagic Show
Presented by Mikael Taieb, the Mathemagic Show is a one-of-a-kind performance that unveils the magical and artistic side of mathematics. With humor and skill, Mikael transforms complex concepts into an engaging experience for all ages. Using the Rubik’s Cube, participants experience the joy of learning math while becoming, for the duration of the show, true mathemagicians.
