Through the reading of the book La chambre d'Adèle (EDITO edition) by writer Marie Barguirdjian, children will discover abstract paintings thanks to Canadian painters' artworks such as Jean-Paul Riopelle, Paul-Émile Borduas, Françoise Sullivan. Following the reading of Adèle's story, the writer will ask the families to dive into the work of the abstract paintings, inspired by the artworks in the book. Everyone will be able to create their own artwork with their pencils and pastel pens.
What is the story behind La chambre d’Adèle by Marie Barguirdjian ?
Adèle really has a lot of imagination. She makes up tons of stories with her toys and turns her room into a mess, unfortunately for her parents. But one day, while she is visiting a museum, she founds out about something really messy too...
