How does it work?

Why did we choose this movie?

The sets of the film are composed of reworked photographs of real Parisian places. Michel Ocelot carried out scouting for 4 years to transcribe a Paris as close as possible to reality. Visually, it's a true masterpiece, and basically, Oceot defends his strong values as in all his films. Here, he emphasizes the emancipation of women.

In the Paris of the Belle Époque, in the company of a young delivery boy in a scooter, the little Kanake Dilili leads an investigation into the mysterious kidnappings of young girls. She meets extraordinary men and women, who give her clues. She discovers very particular villains underground, the Males-Masters. The two friends will fight with enthusiasm for an active life in the light and living together...
