Diane Roblin's five piece band Reconnect comes together at Alliance française on Friday, October 30 to play her original jazz funk compositions and also tribute to Charles Mingus - one of the great jazz bassists and composers of the 20th century, by including several of his compositions in their concert set. Charles Mingus spent much time in Paris where in 1970 he recorded "Charles Mingus in Paris: The Complete America Session".
