La tige et la racine
Interested in music since his earliest years, Pierre Guitard launched his debut album, La tige et la racine, in Acadia in the spring of 2016. In a style that varies with the songs, from country-folk to alternative rock, this Acadian singer-songwriter recounts the setbacks of daily life with finesse and poetry in his compositions, which are sprinkled with humour and refreshing realism.
Opening act : Georgian Bay
The unique mystic folk of Georgian Bay has resonated across Canada since the launch of their first album, Horizons, in 2014. Since then, Georgian Bay has stood out performances at the Mariposa Folk Festival, the Granby International Song Festival and the Home County Music and Art Festival.
