On Thursday, October, 17th, from 7pm to 9pm, watch with us Approved for Adoption (Couleur de peau : miel), a 2012 French-Belgian animated film based on a comic by the Korean-Belgian comic artist Jung Sik-Jun and directed by Laurent Boileau. It is an autobiographical movie based on the childhood of Jung Sik-Jun, who was adopted by a Belgian family.

Synopsis: Jung Sik-Jun is a boy born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1965. As part of an adoption program after the Korean War, he was adopted by a Belgian family in 1971 and grew up in Belgium. The film tells the important moments of his childhood and teenage years by alternating current documentary sequences, archive images and animated scenes forming fictional reconstructions of moments of Jung's past.
