The approximately 850 residents of Aamjiwnaang, a First Nations reserve in Southern Ontario, are reminiscent of the indominable Gauls, Astérix and Obélix. Living at the centre of an important petrochemical complex, they are determined to protect their ancestral lands; a haven for all resident species.
