"I paint what I see, and not what others like to see" - Edouard Manet

Live a moment of sharing with your students through this movement that has revolutionized the History of Art: Impressionism.

What is Impressionism? How did it emerge? What is its goal ?

This exchange workshop will allow students to discover the different impressionist artists in search of their artistic independence. They will be invited to observe and analyze the main characteristics of this movement: the touches of light and the juxtaposed colors. Through a permanent dialogue between the students and the lecturer, everyone will be invited to express their opinion, to question and to share their knowledge.

Follow Ophélie, a graduate of the Louvre School and passionate about art, and take a closer look at the masterpieces of the Impressionist movement! After this initiation, art will have no secrets for your students!

The little extra: A pedagogical guide will be available for teachers!
