SCANDAL AND THE PERIPATETIC
Museums will be discussed here as being a place of movement, a place “given to walking around” as the Greek word peripatētikós suggests. Scandal with regards to museums has appeared in different guises over time. Some scandals lead to revolution, others to destruction. This “open” lecture, this “live” lecture, spoken in the present tense, and based on the museum today, will oscillate between these two polarities.
