Wind, Sand and Stars

(Performance in French, no English surtitles)

Compagnie Caravague

Adapted from the novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Two men in an airplane…they begin to talk as they look over the sea of clouds. We enter the universe of Saint-Exupéry…they will pass through the author’s story, so beautifully written in Wind, Sand and Stars. A true hymn to life in these troubled times, Saint-Exupéry’s work reminds us that it is always right to have hope, that people are revealed to themselves in their ability to overcome obstacles, and that above and beyond the walls built between peoples and cultures, when seen from the sky, lights approach each other... “We must try to come together. We must try to communicate with some of those fires that burn far and wide in the countryside.”
