New Measures COVID-19

There are some new procedures this season that we wanted to make sure you are fully informed of. Please review all of our New rules before coming to one of our events.

New Rules…

  • Use the door on Spadina Road (glass door)
  • Buy/Book your tickets/RSVP online. No box office on-site!
  • Doors will open only 20 minutes before the event
  • Doors will be closed 10 minutes after the beginning of the event
  • Physical distancing has to be respected everywhere in the building
  • Mandatory masks. You will be asked to keep them on during the entire event!
  • Fill out our register
  • Clean your hands before entering the Theatre (hand sanitizer available)
  • Your seat will be selected and facilitated by a member of our team to ensure safe distancing
  • Don't bring food and beverages
  • Enjoy the event!
  • Take the exit on Lowther Avenue (Theatre door)

Please note that if you have any symptoms (flu, cold) you cannot come to the event. If you already have tickets, please contact us!

Wheelchair access

A number of seats have been specifically set aside for people in wheelchairs or with disabilities and are available upon request. Please inform us of your needs when you purchase tickets. Washrooms are accessible.

Hearing devices

We provide an RF wireless assistive listening system for use by the hearing-impaired. The assistive listening system (ALS) shall be capable of broadcasting on up to 57 different wide band channels and be frequency agile. The receivers will incorporate a stereo headset jack that allows the user to plug in either a mono or stereo headset and listen to audio normally. Free of charge. Patrons are required to leave a piece of identification.

  • Take the subway or the 501 streetcar to Spadina Station.
    Alliance francaise is one block north of Bloor street West at the corner of Spadina Road and Lowther Avenue.

  • By car

  • Alliance francaise is one block north of Bloor street West, on Spadina Road (not Avenue!).
    There are several public parking options close by, including: Green P Parking at 19 Spadina Road and on-street parking all around.
