Our general French courses are designed to enhance your overall language skills using the proven and certified Alliance Française methodology. With progressive levels – Initiation, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, Autonomy, and Proficiency – further divided into sub-levels, these courses offer a clear and personalized learning path. Classes are held in small groups of at least four students, with flexible options: three hours once a week or two hours twice a week, from Monday to Saturday.
To get started, a placement test will identify the level that best matches your current abilities. If you're completely new to French, you can begin directly with the Initiation Level course A1.1.
TCF-TEF Preparation - Advanced
This course is designed for adults preparing for the TCF or TEF exam who are looking to improve their performance in the writing, reading, and speaking sections. In this conversation course, you will practice and enrich your vocabulary and culture in order to easily describe a work of art in French. Exploring main periods of art (renaissance, realism, impressionism, cubism, surrealism, contemporary art, etc.) will allow you to gain the necessary cultural and linguistic elements to participate in a visit to a museum and describe an artwork that you have chosen beforehand.

At the rate of one or two books per session, you will visit the French parts of Canada, Africa, and Europe in a unique fashion. This will give you the satisfaction of knowing that the world of French literature, albeit complex and fear-inducing, is at the palm of your hand.
