The Alliance Française of Toronto is an accredited DELF examination centre. The DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) is an official French-language proficiency diploma issued by the French Ministry of National Education and is valid for life.
Internationally recognized, the DELF certifies an individual’s level of proficiency in French and can be used for academic and professional purposes, as well as for certain administrative procedures.
The DELF diploma is offered at several levels, from A1 to B2. Open to all candidates, it is designed to suit personal, academic, or professional goals.
Each DELF diploma is independent, meaning that candidates are not required to have passed previous levels in order to register. For example, you may register directly for the DELF B1 without having taken the DELF A2.
Exam sessions, as well as DELF preparation courses, are available at all of our centres across the Greater Toronto Area
