ABOUT THE DELF DIPLOMA

By passing this diploma, you certificate your abilities to be independent while you communicate in French.

• A B1 user is capable of dealing with situations likely to arise in daily life and produce simple connected texts on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
• A B2 user has a degree of independence that allows him/her to construct arguments to defend his/her opinion, explain his/her viewpoint and negotiate.

PLEASE NOTE THAT

• DELF B1 is required to obtain French nationality. DELF B1 is also requested to validate other diplomas such as AUF’s (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie)
• except dispensation, DELF B2 is compulsory to follow studies in the French higher education.
