Description

Through engaging conversations, this course explores classic or contemporary literary works from various French-speaking countries. With one or two books per session, you will embark on a literary tour of the French-speaking Canada, Africa and Europe, and experience the pleasure of entering a world you may have previously considered beyond your reach.

Participants must commit to reading an average of 50 pages per week.

Objectives

  • Study the author’s style and vocabulary;
  • Analyze the character and plot development;
  • Analyze the semantic fields;
  • Discuss the themes of your reading for the week.
