
March Break… in French!
Join our Francophone program for an exciting week at the Alliance Française with our various partners. Francophone and Francophile children are welcome. All activities are conducted in French.

Schedules and programs
9am - 12pm: language workshops and games in French
12pm - 1pm : lunch break
1:00 - 4:00 pm: camp-specific activity
A daycare service (optional) is offered from 8am to 9am and from 4pm to 6pm.

Discover the world of coding!
In this beginner coding camp, you will develop your computational thinking in a fun and playful way, all while creating an interactive game with Scratch. You will also have the chance to create your own website!
- Required material:
A laptop or Chromebook (tablets will not be sufficient)
A mouse
An updated Internet browser (ideally Chrome, but Firefox or Safari could work too)
Our partner for this camp: This camp will be led by Jonathan, a Francophone youth that is passionate about technology. Jonathan has vast experience in teaching and conducting workshops about coding and programming. He aims to share his enthusiasm and passion with more youth.
Age: 8- 10 years old


MUSICAL
Ekin Agency Arts will offer a musical camp based on Art History. From Picasso to Frida Kahlo, get on board to travel back in time, explore different artistic movements and discover passionate characters who described the world of their time through their art.
On the last day of camp, invite your loved ones for a performance at the Alliance Française theatre!

Singing and dancing, DIY, painting, drawing
Drama, collective creation
Exhibition visit ( ticket price included)
Our partner for this camp: Ekin is an artistic agency that includes a collective of artists in the performing arts (theatre, dance, literature writing, music, singing…).

Shoot your first movie
Explore the art of creating a video!
In the “Shoot Your First Movie” camp, you will discover simple tips and tricks on producing a short film.
- Join us and learn the 4 basic steps in producing a short film:
Write a story (scenario)
Set the scene (make a movie set or costume)
Direct (mini camera provided)
Edit (in a team, editing software provided)
Our partner for this camp: Le Labo is a centre of Francophone artists in Toronto that specialize in digital and media arts. Le Labo is known for their high-quality, diverse, and multidisciplinary programs, as well as their passion for the next generation of children.
