
Close to "Spadina" metro station, our cultural center opens its spaces to campers all summer long: workshop rooms, library, game library and theatre.

Schedules and programs
9am - 12pm: language workshops and outdoor games in French
12pm - 1pm : lunch break
1:00 - 4:00 pm: Camp-specific activities
A daycare service (optional) is offered from 8am to 9am and from 4pm to 6pm.

The end of the camp show, offered by the campers on the theatre stage, is the highlight of each season.
Each day includes activities and an outdoor picnic.


Discover the world of coding!
In this beginner coding camp, you will develop your computational thinking in a fun and playful way, all while creating an interactive game with Scratch. You will also have the chance to create your own website!
Required material:
- A laptop or Chromebook (tablets will not be sufficient)
- A mouse
- An updated Internet browser (ideally Chrome, but Firefox or Safari could work too)
Our partner for this camp:
This camp will be led by Jonathon, a young Francophone who is passionate about technology. Jonathan has vast experience in teaching and conducting workshops about coding and programming. He aims to share his enthusiasm and passion with the younger generation.
N.B. : Jonathon offers a different program on each session to allow children to register for several consecutive sessions.

Let’s play and sing History together
This summer, Ekin Agency Arts is offering musical camps that shine a light on different periods in Western and Eastern history. Follow the footsteps of the many figures that have made their mark throughout time.
On the last day of camp, invite your loved ones for a show at the Alliance Française theater!

- Dance and sing, craft, painting, drawing
- Drama, collective creation

Ekin is an artistic agency that includes a collective of artists in the performing arts (drama, dance, literature writing, music, singing…).

Important: For the session from July 3 to 14, activities will exceptionally take place at the North York campus. Children will be welcomed at AF Spadina at 8am. They will be accompanied by teachers to reach AF North York by public transport. We return to Spadina at 4:45pm.

Théâtre français de Toronto Camp
Do you dream of going on stage and shining under the spotlight? Share your passion for theater and join us at our Théâtre français de Toronto camp. This summer, novice entertainers are invited to explore the basics of performance techniques and discover a wide range of theatrical disciplines. Whether acting as a clown, performing puppetry, improvising, or creating and producing a show, you will face challenges that are fun and rewarding!
Our partner for this camp:
This camp will be hosted by Eudes La Roche-Francoeur, a Quebecois actor, singer, and creator. He has acted and produced for many famous plays and musical comedies. Since 2018, he has been teaching at the Théâtre française de Toronto with the goal to share his love for the stage with children.

Eco-Design Workshops
Have you ever wanted to design and build your own furniture? Why not try it with cardboard? At our eco-design camp, you can have fun designing different creations (furniture, scenery, and costumes). Join us and become a pro with cardboard!
Activities:
- Create a footstool for each child to bring home.
- Create the set for a musical performance by Ekin on the Middle Ages.
Our partner for this camp:
This camp will be hosted by Nkita, an eco-friendly artist from the Ekin collective. From an environmentally responsible standpoint, he trained himself to design cardboard furniture and subsequently adopted the slow design movement. Nkita also works with Ekin as a set designer for several shows. We are proud to have him join us and share his passion for cardboard with children.

Shoot Your Movie
Explore the art of creating a video!
In this camp, you will discover simple tips and tricks on producing a short film. Join us and learn the 4 basic steps in producing a short film: Write a story (scenario), Set the scene (make a movie set or costume), Direct (mini camera provided) & Edit (in a team, editing software provided).
Feel free to bring a mobile phone, but if it’s not possible, cameras and laptops will be available.

Photo Studio / Mini Exhibition
From painting and drawing the color background on the first few days to the portrait session and setting up a mini-exhibition at the end of the week, come and transform the classroom into a studio! The children will have pencils, paint, a set box and professional cameras at their disposal! The portraits will be printed and displayed, and everyone will be able to take them home. Join us for a fun introduction to the art of photography!
