Diversity of activities
The program is organized by a team of French speaking professionals, specializing in a wide range of disciplines. Together, they will provide a variety of activities that continually change to keep children engaged.
Artistic creation, the social dimensions of the arts, analysis and logic... Through this program children are encouraged to extend and build on the skills and abilities they are developing in their primary school curricula. They will also receive support in their homework assignments.
Drawing, collage, painting, folding... All are opportunities to express one’s creativity in French!
Choir or dance - children practise their French together with a repertoire of songs and choreographies.
Analysis, deduction, strategy, negotiation... our games’ library is a reservoir of challenges to stimulate the neurons.
Storytelling, role playing, finding humour in scenes of everyday life... The world is a stage ...in French!

I welcome your children to develop their creative spirit through various manual activities, in an environment that is both safe and fun. Moreover, I offer them the opportunity to learn the value of collaboration, by participating in collective games. Helping them learn French while having fun is my main goal.
Graduate of the Ecole Européenne Supérieure d'Art de Bretagne in Quimper, France. During my years at Art School, painting became an obsession, and eventually a kind of language. Influenced by Eugène Leroy and Helen Frankenthaler, my work explores the dynamic relationship between the expressiveness of brush strokes and the emotional experience of color. At the Maison des Arts et Loisirs, I invite children to develop their creativity throughdifferent mediums such as drawing, painting, collage, colouring, cutting, pasting, and more... http://base.ddab.org/laurianne-simon
A classical ballet dancer since the age of 8, I had my first contract at the Ballet National de Marseille and then in the company of Maria Gimenez in Madrid, Spain. Back in Paris, my performing experience veered into the style of the classic Music Hall and Broadway-tyoe musicals. I teach this beautiful discipline with passion, for ages 7 to 77!
As a young French athletics teacher, I take responsibility for the physical activity workshops, arranging sports and games for your children every Thursday and Friday afternoon.
All francophone and francophile children between 5 and 10 years old are welcome.
